TO: Mayor Connie Fuller, Liberty Hill Council Members, Planning and Zoning Commission Members:
We, the undersigned concerned residents of Liberty Hill, do hereby register our STRONG OPPOSITION to the proposed zoning change that would allow for the development by Texas Housing Foundation of the project for subsidized housing near the Liberty Hill Elementary School. We URGE the Mayor, members of the Liberty Hill City Council and the members of the Planning and Zoning Commission to vote \'NO\' on this zoning change so that this proposed housing project cannot be developed.
The small town values and culture of Liberty Hill are cherished by all of us, and we strongly believe that these characteristics provide a truly unique quality of life here in Liberty Hill. This project could severely threaten this way of life and should therefore be denied.
We feel that this proposed housing project (and the others that would likely follow once the door is opened) will severely damage the quality of life that we all enjoy here. Many of the people who would be moving into this housing project would likely come from large urban areas, bringing with them inner city culture and inner city problems.
Therefore, we would strongly urge the City of Liberty Hill to reject this proposed zoning change that would pave the way for this project of subsidized housing. Furthermore, we would call on the City Council to abandon any current or future talks with the developer for this housing project or any similar projects that may be brought forward.
Respectfully, and for the good of our community,

Keep our town the way it is. We moved here to get away from the city mess not to have it follow us home.
