In signing this petition, we the undersigned are requesting that the Fort Worth City Council deny any and all gas drilling and related activities such as compressors and pipelines, in residential and neighborhood commercial districts in the City of Fort Worth. WE ALSO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT GAS DRILLING AND PRODUCTION IS AN INDUSTRIAL USE AND SHOULD BE LOCATED IN "INDUTRIAL ZONING DISTRICTS."

This petition is being forwarded by Fort Worth Citizens for Repsponsible Government in an effort to let the Fort Worth City Council know to what extent people are concerned about gas drilling, compressors and high pressure gas pipelines in and near our neighborhoods and neighborhood commercial areas. However, the Fort Worth City Council is not bound by anything stated in this petition.
