A great man of Camelot once said, "Without the people there is no Camelot. We're as much their servant as they are ours." It is this sense of loyalty, nobility, and justice that has brought Camelot its prestige and status as one of the most magnificent cities in the land. Yet every day the people of Camelot face dire risks as they serve and protect their great rulers. The dutiful servants of the kingdom brave bandits and bruises; swords and scratches; poisons and punches; and the daily danger of death. As these men and women place themselves on the frontline to protect Camelot's leaders, is it only right that they too may protect themselves? To fight for their rights, the You Have My Sword petition asks that each servant who is expected to defend or fight for their masters in battle be equipped with a sword and when possible, chainmail. These are two simple necessities which are awarded to the knights who protect Camelot's people, here at You Have My Sword, we believe this same right should be afforded to the people who protect Camelot's leaders.
