We just hit 100 signatures and Yellowknife City Council cannot ignore us forever. It is pathetic that we even have to fight for basic safety, but these names prove that people are finally fed up with the status quo.

HARD YES. People need to stop being so stubborn about this. Just put the helmet on and be safe.
Common sense. Protect your head. Why is this even a debate?
My son crashed his bike last summer and his helmet literally split in two. I dont even want to think about what would have happened if he wasnt wearing it!!
Its just for safety guys. Like seatbelts. Dont see why anyone would be against this.
Bout time! Seen way to many kids riding around town without one. It only takes one fall to change your life forever.

Living in YK we all know how bad the roads get. Everyone should be wearing a lid especially with the way some people drive up here.
