We the undersigned do hear by 'STRONGLY' support the passing of a law in regards to having seat belts required for all the children that ride the school bus...especially along the highways! 22 million children ride the school bus and by law, kids on bikes must wear helmets and in cars kids must be secured in an approved safety restraint at all times. So it may be a surprise to learn that federal law does not require seat belts on most school buses. Why should we wait for another fatal accident before we decide that the safety of these children should be more important. Let's make a difference before we lose another child for a law that should have been passed years ago that would help save the lives of our children. Thank you
