Helmets save lifes, Cyclist casualty rates per 100,000 people are highest for 12-15 year olds. For this age group, 1 in every 5 casualties in a road accident is a pedal cyclist.
The number of pedal cyclists killed or seriously injured in road accidents in 2007 was 2,564. This included 136 deaths. 522 children were among the KSI total.. So this is why I want to make wearing Bicycle Helmets Law

About time. Too many close calls near the school zones.
My son had a bad crash last year and if he wasnt wearing his helmet he wouldnt be here today. It only takes one idiot driver to change everything so just wear the damn thing!

Should be common sense but clearly it isnt. Too many kids riding around with nothing on their heads. Make it law so parents actually pay attention.
