I support the application to grant planning permission to keep the gate and railings (max height of 1.95m) at 31 Norris Road,Sale, Cheshire. The gates are not incongruous with the neighbourhood, in fact they are lower than other gates on the road which have already set the precedent when it comes to the height of gates and railings in Trafford. They also serve to provide high level security for the family that resides there. After 2 burglaries in the last 12 months both of which saw the car being stolen and one which involved 4 men forcing entry into the house whilst Mrs Yates was downstairs and their 2 young children asleep in bed, I fully support that they should be allowed to keep the gates as they are.
