Drug dealers being chased by the police used to come up the alley between Kings Road and Ruskin Road, climb over the wall at the back of Gascoigne Close and walk through the estate onto the High Road. It has been a lot quieter out back since the drug dealers can't use this route any more.

My balkony is on that side.before trellis were installed we had a terrible incidents-some people were throwing massive objects to our window or just the rubbish like old shoes. My children were very scared. Now we feel much more safe, nothing happens since we have it. We need to keep it.

Please, since the trellis were placed, the security in our state improve 500%.
We feel safe to come home again any tips me day and night -I work lots of late and night duties- and that makes a lot of difference. Prior to that you could see extrangers men jumping intonour estate via the back wall and damaging our properties and cars.
We are citizens in Tottenham.
We got the right to feel safe in our borough, and even more in our own homes.
Please, do not take away that safety from us and our children and families.

Crime + vandalism used to be frequent
Since the fence, seldom
Fence is on an alley and not an obstruction of view for anyone
Gascoigne close residents are more secure at little cost to Haringey council
Fence should remain as it has reduced crime in the area.

Residents at Gascoigne Close have experienced safety issues in the past and that is why we have trellis in the first place. Haringey council can not dismiss our safety and find themselves responsible in the future for any criminal incidents happening in our estate.

Anti-climb trellis of this type is used by public authorities across London to secure premises, including at a number of sites within Haringey.
Residents of Gascoigne Close should not be forced to compromise their security and trellis should stay, alternatively the trellis can be painted
black to blend in more with the environment to make it look less aggressive and acceptable to anyone living in the surrounding areas.

We in Gascoigne close came together after weeks, months and years of cars break inns and criminal activities in our estate to protect our property. We will stand united against Haringey Council for wanting to take down our safeguards.
