Help protect Wilson Creek This petition is to stop the development planned in the Wilson Creek Wilderness area. Thousands of people enjoy the river and its surroundings year-round for activities from hiking to paddling, cycling or simply swimming. The prestine waters of the creek draw people to Caldwell county from all over the state and even country. Allowing construction of such a large development so close to the creek would be a disaster.

The scale of this response has secured us a meeting with the county planning board. I am currently finalizing the formal request to pause all development permits pending an environmental impact review.

my family has been going here for generations. it would be a total shame if they ruin the water quality and the trails.

The traffic alone will kill the area. Caldwell county is getting way too crowded as it is.

This place is a gem. You cant just pave over everything for some ugly condos. Leave it alone.

Used to swim here as a kid. Please dont let them destroy the only quiet spot left in the county.
