"Given the very high footfall of school children using the White Hart Lane level crossing, the narrow walkways and volume of traffic in close proximity, we urge Network Rail to prioritise the provision of a new footbridge."

Network Rail is still ignoring the danger our children face at this crossing every single day. We are nearing 1,000 signatures and we need to hit that goal right now so they have no choice but to acknowledge this risk.

Getting stuck on the wrong side of the crossing means sometimes I dont get to see my daughter before she goes to bed! Thats just crazy. Not to mention that every day I see people pushed into the road and in front of cars because the walkways are too narrow

This crossing is so dangerous given how impatient people are - which will never change given how often the barriers are down- and how many children use it, that it is verging on the negligent for there not to be a bridge. It is long, long overdue.

I lived on White Hart Lane for 15 years and it was so difficult getting around with so many trains causing the barrier to stay down. I still work in the area and am constantly seeing school children waiting at the barriers for up to 5 trains to pass.

Almost been caught on the tracks with the boom coming down pushing a buggy and pulling a toddler along. It is definitely a dangerous crossing for families with young children. Bridge further down is OK, but is no use for those with buggies.

This is a residential area highly populated by families with young children who use the crossing regularly not least to get to and from Barnes Primary School. It is essential that everything possible is done to ensure their safety.

If houses can be built on the edge of the track, a footbridge over it should be no problem to Railtrack and could be a life and time saving assett to pedestrians. Would be useful if a ramp for pram-pushers and wheelchair users could be incorporated.

Can't see how anyone could possibly not agree that a foot bridge is required urgently and there's clearly space. Must be sorted soon!

A Footbridge is urgently needed. The gates stay close for up to 15mins and when on a school-run etc every minute counts. It is also dangerous when lots of people with small children have to wait during busy times.
