Final supporters
Rick Davis has been a full-time member of the NESCom faculty since 2010. He has brought to our beloved college more than twenty five years of broadcasting and video production experience. If you ever had a class with Rick then you know that he is a professor who is great at what he does and very caring when it comes to helping his students.
Unfortunately, Husson is letting him go and Rick has no say in it. He is upset about it, I am upset about it and I am pretty sure many of you feel the same way.
This petition is being created to show Husson how much Rick is appreciated and loved by his students and how he should not be let go just like that. I do not know how much effect this petition will have on his job status. No matter what happens though, our signatures will still prove, to Rick at least, how he has been a valuable part of our NESCom experience.
I hope you guys take the time to sign this petition and show your love and appreciation to Rick. Please share with others who might be interested in helping him as well!

The administration at Husson continues to ignore us but this surge in support proves they cannot simply erase Rick Davis without a fight. Seeing this many people demand accountability makes it clear that we will not let them discard a mentor who actually cares about our future.

Rick Davis was one of the kindest teachers I've met in the NESCom program. I'm not even a video major, and I would be devastated if this man were to be let go. He has the perfect temperament for incoming students who are overwhelmed with there major and don't know what they are doing.
As an advisor, Rick was always there for me by email, phone, or in person. He genuinely cares about his students and would help them in anyway possible when needed. It would be a great loss to the school should such a reliable and caring teacher be dismissed.
I had Rick for Video 1. This has got to be the most patient man in the world! Every week, we'd come in with our terrible projects, and Rick would gently critique us to help us sharpen our skills. Rick is an excellent teacher, and without him, NESCom is losing a valuable person!
As someone whose assistance has proven crucial in helping new students get a leg up to navigate NESCOM's video department and ensure their success, severing ties with Mr. David would be a critical misstep. Husson, please do the smart thing and reconsider where your true priorities should really lie.
Rick Davis was my first instructor and opened so many doors for me my first year figuratively and literally. Such a kind man is losing the thing he loves most and that is helping us students get a good knowledge of video production basics that will impact me forever.

I've known Rick since college. There is no one more knowledgeable and dedicated to his craft than Rick. He is genuine and passionate about teaching and everything he does is done with the highest skill and integrity. I hope Husson will reconsider its action for the future benefit of its students.
