The course loading committee at BCIT's Interior Design department are trying to take his teaching positions away from him. This is absolutely atrocious... How could they do that to someone who has consistently been a key part of the Interior Design Program and its development for so many years??
I have been fortunate enough to be a student in his classes and can say first hand he is one of the best teachers I've ever had! This sickens me...

Ron’s detailing and construction materials class probably taught me more than any other class. It refamiliarized me with space planning and tolerances as well as incorporating AutoCAD which I feel so much more confident in. The course material covered a vast amount of useful information important to continue on in this program. Ron frequently stayed late to go over and explain any questions students had. This course is now going to be part of the diploma program in 2nd year and I believe Ron with as much experience in both teaching and in this particular field would be the ideal choice for an instructor. Even after 23 years Ron still exhibits patience to students who are learning and maintains a passion for teaching.
