Due to recent turmoil and differences of opinion among the troop committee, Mr. Kip has resigned as scoutmaster. According to BSA regulations a scoutmaster should posses the following characteristics, Commitment to the ideals of scouting, high moral standards, ability to related to the boys, ability to keep a calm cool head under pressure, good organizational skills, ability to relate and interact with adults, flexibility and the ability to compromise, good planning ability, good attention to detail and high energy level. The scoutmaster is a volunteer job and the scoutmaster must be avalibe to attend all outings and meetings. If you agree Mr. Kip meets the above stated criteria please join in this cause to reinstate him as troop 124 scoutmaster.

Kip should definitely come back, he has the boys best interests at heart... he has allowed them to come up with a great plan for the summer and the boys are genuinely excited about scouting for the FIRST time since my son crossed over last spring! Please come back Kip, the boys need you in their corner!

Boy-Lead Troop. Boy Scouts is about teaching and mentoring boys how to grow and learn to become productive young men in our communities. If we lose sight of this principle, we have lost sight of why it is we volunteered for this program.

Kip has the directional goal for our troop- Boy Lead. We've lost this touch. He came in energetic and proud to serve as Scoutmaster. He's responsible and respectful to the needs of the troop.
