Final supporters
The time has come for the town government and specifically, the Selectmen, to place an article on the fall town meeting warrant allowing Town Meeting members to vote on funding a $1.5 million turf field at Philips park using existing free cash.
The current standard of fields in Swampscott shows its residents and visitors that we do not care about our children.
It is time to make an investment in the physical needs of our children.

maybe if we spent money on actual maintenance we wouldnt need a million dollar turf field
THE GRASS IS DIRT. time to catch up with every other town around us
As a father, coach and someone who loves this town - we need a new turf field for all of the kids to play safely!
We are considering moving to another town due to the lack of support for kids education and sports in Swampscott.
Our fields are an embarrassment and a hazard to our kids. We need to move on this already!
Then move to Marblehead with all the other yahoos.
This is a vote against the field.
