Scott Bryant recently resigned from TED, and this was a colossal error. It is clear to all that he was the only Spirit-filled, sanctified member of that writing duo. While being at times loquacious and often fearful, we see now that his timidity helped restrain the barbs and kept the angry, Twitter horde at bay. It may be said with certainty that Scott tempered and redeemed Ryan far more than Jeff Donaldson did the same for James MacDonald. Bring him back now, oh Lord.

March 16, 2019

I never thought I would see this much traction when I started typing this out in a fit of frustration late at night. Honestly it feels like the momentum is finally catching up to the gravity of what Scott actually meant for the work. People are starting to see the sheer scale of this loss and it is just wild to watch it unfold.

Let him go. Doesn't matter how wonderful he is. Going forward means exactly that. Fresh eyeballs and gifts. Let him go.
