Bobby came into our ministry just over a year and a half ago. Since then, we have undergone some incredible changes. He has been able to transform the environment and the people within. His creativity and willingness to put himself out there was unexpected, but is so appreciated! Everything he plans is so above and beyond, and has contributed to the love so many people have for HSM.
In the past, HSM has gone through so many youth pastors and it has definitely taken a toll on us. This time we have had with Bobby has been nothing but constructive. We enjoy having a pastor as young as he is — it has lead to an even greater connection and helped us grow in our faith because we can relate to him more. His relationship with every member of HSM, as well as those who come and go, is so much greater than anyone could have asked. Along with this, he has worked hard to strengthen the bond between leaders and students. He continues to develop and improve the content he shares with us. Through the trust we have established, we all, including Bobby, have been able to build off of each other and grow in faith and confidence.
Bobby has made HSM one of the safest, most comfortable and loving environments for high schoolers to be welcomed into. Wednesday night is the time of each week high schoolers can relax, have fun, and connect spiritually. Through HSM, students have been able to meet so many other God-fearing teens.
Hearing that Bobby is to be replaced came to much surprise to the families involved in HSM. We feel it is urgent to make our voices heard before it is too late.

The feedback regarding Bobby's impact on HSM continues to reflect the positive environment he fostered. We are currently organizing these experiences to present to the leadership team for their review.

The level of support for Bobby has grown significantly in recent days. This momentum indicates that the community recognizes the positive impact he has had on our youth program. We are preparing to present these sentiments to the leadership at the church.

Although Bobby didn't study for this role, it is clear that he has impacted the lives of so many teens at HSM. For so many of them to enthusiastically participate despite the busy lives they all have speaks volumes to his ability to connect with them. He continues to build the program year after year. It would seem a shame to remove him from HSM when he has so much momentum. I'm sure there is a grand vision that is being worked, but maybe the best position for Bobby is right where he is right now. He has a calling for working with these teens!
Bobby needs to stay... He connects in such a personal level that no one else could do. He has dramatically changed my life and definitely the lives of others
Our Teenagers have a found a youth minister who can teach God's word and love at their level in life and grows with them yearly. Bobby Buffington is real and God shines through him and we see it through our teenagers. Bobby is the calling one for GBCC for our Youth Pastor. Our teenagers voice and love is were it stands.
This petition ROCKS! This is our youth pursuing the things they are passionate about - especially their desire to LEARN about JESUS!!
I have heard stories from other teens about the impact he has made on their lives. He seems like he has been very influential in many different ways and I hope he is able to continue making a difference.
Bobby stands for everything a parent and teen could ask for in a role model!
Bobby is great and we don't want him to be replaced!

My son has finally started wanting to go to church again because of Bobby. Please dont take him away from the kids he is doing such a great job!
