The feedback from our neighbors has been mixed and the pushback is heavier than I expected. I am still processing all the arguments being thrown around but I remain convinced that this facility is what Peotone needs to survive.

The momentum behind this project is finally reaching a point where officials cannot look the other way. I am exhausted by the constant uphill battle but seeing this level of backing keeps me moving forward.

Travel on 88th ave every day can’t see how it will hurt traffic I assume the country will make them widen and put stop lisgts in because they won’t have to pay for them just like Amazon had to do on monee manhatten rd
The proposed hotel truck stop looks to be an upgrade from a standard truck stop and would bring additional revenue and jobs to town.
Need growth for this ghost town.
This could be a good way to funnel tax money to the downtown area. Great opportunity for growth.
Lot lizards and drug dealers are the type of growth peotone needs!
Look at monee, it has hotels and truck stops and it’s a thriving, beautiful community right? No, turning into a ghetto if that’s what you want for peotone
We need growth in town, not off of I-57. Just another noisy, air pollution, high crime business.

It will not increase truck traffic on wilmington road so how are the fumes gunna be increased? People complain about peotone not growing but when something big comes into town, they shoot it down, this is a huge chance to make peotone grow! Make peotone great again!!!!
