The Dental Council remains quiet on the CDE credit requirement but our momentum is building. Take this link and text it to three colleagues who have not signed yet. We need to force a public response from them immediately.
January 20, 2018
We hit a major milestone today and the momentum shows that our community is united against these new renewal requirements. Send this link to three colleagues right now and tell them why we must keep this pressure on the Council.

Why forceful implementation of credit points by KDC? Whats the real motive behind this? We are not against CDE programs..CDE should be conducted by Government Dental Colleges or by KDC itself for free if they want to educate Dentists..No other state in India Implements it...Then why forcefully in Kerala in a suation whre DCI doesent want to implement it?

It's totally different thinking that you have to kind towards the budding new dentists they are struggling to get a minimum income and kdc is making it worse by looting their money through these kinds of programmes for attending a cde there is an average expense of 2000 inr and not just expenses you will be loosing all your valuable working time cause in case of dentistry you never know the day when you can get that money needed for surviving the ongoing month. ..

I honestly feel like any thing shouldn't be imposed. Drs should go and attend programs out of the interest in a particular field so as to get the max benefit for them as well as the patients they treat.

While I believe CDE programs are doing good to the profession, I absolutely reject the proposal of making them mandatory for renewal of professional license.
