IACDE members -Petition for conducting online election for IACDE office Bearers for 2021
We the member of IACDE hereby raise this petition. Due to pandemic situation most of the member cannot attend the conference which is to be held @ Guwahati on feb 27th & 28th 2021. Kindly request the IACDE head office to implement online voting for electing of office bearers 2021. The application "www.right2vote.in" is an online voting app approved by GOI. By singing the said petition we the IACDE members collective support the intiative for online voting in our association.

The isolation caused by this pandemic makes our democratic process feel more fragile than ever. Many of you have reached out to share how impossible it is to travel for this vote so please know that your frustrations are being heard loud and clear by the leadership.

It is the best solution during the pandemic and gives a chance to participate if an individual is not able to be present physically
As you know due to pandemic it’s not safe for us to travel and get exposed. So we all request you to conduct the election online
We would like to have online AGM and voting as won’t be able to attend conference due to covid 19 situation. Kindly consider this request
For a nation to progress, probity in all our public activities are a must...Elections are one of the pillars of this. But fear of travel due to the pandemic will be a hindrance, this can be overcome by Online voting. So let's have a good online voting and be a role model to others.
Travelling to vote is not a good option, when other reliable and transparent methods are available.
