This petition addresses a growing problem in the dental community that is being ignored. Amalgam poisoning, specifically mercury toxicity from amalgam fillings, has now been proven to cause extreme medical difficulties for individuals including, but not limited to: autoimmune diseases and neurological complications. (https://iaomt.org/resources/dental-mercury-facts/dental-mercury-amalgam-side-effects/). It is time that dentists in New York State are made aware of the signs of amalgam poisoning through mandatory continuing education.

My dentist is replacing all of my fillings for this very reason. Thank God she is following the latest findings and working to protect me from harm.

Heavy metals can be utilized by Borrelia (Lyme Disease) in the formation of its biofilm. The more metals that are accumulated in the body, the harder it is to eradicate the disease.

I been sick for years and nobody could figure out why until I found out about the mercury. NY dentists need to wake up because this is ruining lives.
