We are urging Pendle Borough Council to install CCTV in and around Walverden Park, Nelson. The Park has been taken over by gangs using and trafficking drugs and are trying to scare us ordinary people from using the park and it's facilities. People have been attacked and many are scared to be anywhere near the park. The local residents are subjected to regular bouts of antisocial behaviour and we want something done about it as the authorities appear to be walking on eggshells around the 'known' culprits as there are so many 'procedures' to follow in their apprehension.
