The Beavercreek Planning Commission has received a request for a variance for a 4-story Hotel. The lot, feet from residential homes, at the corner of Commons Blvd. and Park Overlook Dr., is currently zoned for a 1-story building. This Hotel is oddly planned to have the front directly facing homes with the back of the hotel facing Park Overlook Dr. The families of these houses not only face the possibility of decreased home values if passed, but also decreased marketability.
