Help us maintain the character and quality of life of Harrison West.
The variance requests increasing the number of units at 947 Perry Street from 75 to 108, a 44% increase. This request should be opposed because the Harrison West Society and other community organizations have voted against the variance, the variance is inconsistent with the Harrison West Plan, the variance will adversely affect the density, home values, quality of life and safety of the residents of Harrison West, and the hardship stated in the variance is self-imposed by the developer.
The city zoning office has confirmed receipt of our formal objection letter regarding the Perry Street variance request. We are currently preparing supplemental documentation to present at the upcoming planning commission hearing.

108 units is way too much for that spot. The traffic is already a nightmare during rush hour. Enough with the cramming.

PLEASE NO. We moved here for the neighborhood feel not to live in a crowded city center. Stop letting developers ruin everything.

This is ridiculous. The developer knew the rules when they bought the place. They cant just change the plan because they want more cash.
