I proudly support the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and I’m honored to have served my country. I love the United States of America and am thankful for the freedoms I am capable of enjoying each and every day. Although, I’m disappointed with our country right now, as our Veterans have not been properly taken care of, post-war.

The ACLU and tons of Protesters are spending endless amounts of time, money and other resources to get refugees into our country. Not taking into account the almost 40,000 homeless Veterans already here, living homeless, hungry and without proper care. American tax-paying dollars should NOT be spent towards foreigners' care while our own need are in dire need of help! Especially the ones that gave their lives for the freedoms we comfortably enjoy today! Veterans Before Refugees! Let's take care of our own first! Let America give back!

There is no reason for a vet to be homeless its a disgrace to our country if the vets can sign a blank check for their life why can't the gov take care of them for life??? Its not a part time job without benefits....do it now !!!!! Fix this...

I worked for and retired from a federally funded housing authority and it has angered me from day one the number of refugees receiving subsidized housing, when we had homeless veterans. The general public has no idea how many we are providing for.

All veterans should be taken care of before any illegal, or refugee.. No veteran should be on the streets homeless and jobless if they are able to work.. it's a shame we dont care about our men and women who fought for our freedom anymore than we do..

As a military Mom, whose son served 2 tours in Afghanistan, I f8nd it disgraceful that out Veterans are tossed to the side while illegal immigrants have free school, health benefits and shelter. Its about time,we turn the tables and take care of own!

I am certainly not opposed to taking refugees. However, there are many people in the US who suffer. I live in a city filled with tents of people living in parks and on the sidewalks, some of those homeless are veterans. Take care of people in the US first.
