I am certainly not opposed to taking refugees. However, there are many people in the US who suffer. I live in a city filled with tents of people living in parks and on the sidewalks, some of those homeless are veterans. Take care of people in the US first.

Our vets gave everything for us we need to take care of them. My husband is a Vietnam veteran and he has been so mistreated by the system. Makes me furious. He suffers from so much is that fair. All the government does is say it's not service related.

This is woefully a long time in coming. It is difficult to believe that it requires those who gave so much of themselves and "Some Gave All" having to require a petition to receive what they should have received from day ONE!
TRULY A SHAME.

I'm a veteran. Not well educated but never been homeless. Don't know what's wrong with this country worrying more about refugees than for the people that made it possible for them to have what they have
