We, the undersigned, believe that veterans in the city of Chicago deserve greater access to essential resources and support services. After serving and sacrificing for our country, many veterans continue to face challenges such as homelessness, unemployment, mental health struggles, and limited access to healthcare and job training.
Veterans support centers provide critical services including housing assistance, counseling, employment programs, food assistance, and community support. However, many of these organizations struggle with limited funding and resources, preventing them from fully meeting the needs of veterans in our community.
We call on local and state leaders to increase funding, expand resources, and raise awareness for veterans support centers throughout Chicago. By investing in these programs, we can help ensure that veterans receive the respect, care, and opportunities they have earned through their service.
Our veterans served this country. Now it is our responsibility to serve and support them.

WAY TOO MANY VETS ON THE STREETS!!! This is our duty.
They gave everything for us so it is only right we look after them at home. Chicago needs to step up and do better.

my grandpa served and he struggled a lot when he got back. hope this helps get some real help for the guys here
