There are many vacant and blighted properties in our Blue Bell Hill Community, including 619 West Naomi Street. These homes are a safety issue for the neighborhood, as well as an eyesore. 619 West Naomi Street has been in visual disrepair for many years and vacant. This property is dangerous, hazardous, and highly concerning to those who live in our Community. The Blue Bell Hill Civic Association through this petition calls on Councilman Jones and the City Planning Commission to ensure that 619 West Naomi Street is rehabilitated and restored to use in a manner that is consistent with our Community and mindful of the impact on the adjacent Wissahickon Park land. Please support the Blue Bell Hill Civic Association's efforts to address vacant and blighted properties in Blue Bell Hill by signing this petition.

The volume of support for this petition has gained the attention of the City Planning Commission. My next step is a formal meeting with their office to present our concerns regarding the property on West Naomi Street.

This property has been unkempt seemingly abandoned since we bought our home on Naomi St over 6 years ago.

I actually live in home directly across from this disaster. The "owner" has not been seen for over a year, he uses a fake address (630 Walnut Ln) for utility bills etc. The negative effect on property value is enraging.

For the nearly 7 years I've been here the place has progressively decayed. Roof caving in, busted out windows, a giant thriving poison ivy farm for a yard. Also, word is that this house has posted a fraudulent alias address to avoid and delay detection / action. Owners need to upgrade or unload to someone willing.

A total neglected mess for to long, I know Kenny passed about seven months ago or so. It's time for action, no activity what so ever in or around property?

I'm asking that the owner of this property become a good neighbor and either bring it up to a reasonable condition or sell it to someone who will.

I live across the street from this property. Is its owner still alive? How is this zoned?I'd prefer it remain a single-family home. Thanks!

This house has been vacant for many months. It's about time for the owner to step up and and fix it up.
