There are many vacant and blighted properties in our Blue Bell Hill Community, including 6026 Wissahickon Ave. These homes are a safety issue for the neighborhood, as well as an eyesore. 6026 Wissahickon Ave has been in visual disrepair for many years and it is now vacant. Since becoming vacant it has been broken into numerous times. This property is dangerous, hazardous, and highly concerning to those who live in our Community. The Blue Bell Hill Civic Association through this petition calls on Councilman Jones and the City Planning Commission to ensure that 6026 Wissahickon Ave is rehabilitated and restored to use in a manner that is consistent with our Community and mindful of the impact on the adjacent Wissahickon Park land.
