This petition was started in response the truly impossible exam paper we were presented with on the 27.10.2020.
As paying students of UNISA, we demand that the matter be investigated, and we are provided with the opportunity to submit this exam as a cumulative assignments in a future date during the current exam period.

The stories coming in from other students confirm that the frustration I felt after that exam is shared by everyone. I am currently reaching out to the department to ensure they understand that this paper was fundamentally disconnected from what we were taught.

The momentum behind this plea proves that I am not the only one who felt completely broken by that exam paper. Seeing so many of you echo my frustration gives me the strength to keep pushing the administration for a fair resolution.

The paper had many faults and the time frame allocated was absolutely absurd. Students were expected to deliver so much work in a small amount of time. Additionally, students were questioned on work that was not in the prescribed pr recommended material. This is unacceptable as it is impossible to achieve high marks under such circumstances.
I came back from a tooth extraction to the shock of my life. An email from the lecturer stating that aerogatat will not be accepted. I just wrote to submit in fear of this, I know that with this paper I have no chance of making it through
Im very disappointed at the fact that there was no engagement from the module leaders with us during the year and then to receive an exam which definitely required assistance in preparing for.
There was a question that didn't want answers from the textbook however prior to the exam we were told to study the whole book book. What's the use of the prescribed textbook then if we can't use it?!
Examiners' expectations from us were too high. We were expected to write 4 essays with 5 references per essay in 3 hours where we were required to guess the chapter, the theory, and google online journals etcetera. It was too much to handle. I suggest we get a portfolio as an exam for this module.

I personally feel like the exam was unfair considering the fact that we had to google the sources and reference them. I saw the message from the lecturer after the exam that I could not finish due to wasting time on finding sources.... The content of the exam was well structured but the problem was these sources
