We shouldn't be forced rewrite without any official reports from the University. I, like many other students do not know exactly what happened and no one has made much of an effort to tell us how the paper was compromised. Just telling us that it was compromised does not help us in any way. They should not accuse us of cheating without providing any evidence to us

The students are not aware of what was "compromised". Some had already gone home. They should to be forced to rewrite this exam especially because they were not at fault. An enteral problem should be fixed within the department, the students should not suffer because of a flawed economics department!

This is ridiculous, this decision by UKZN to make us rewrite has caused interfered with out already packed study timetable and it is a great inconvenience to us due to UKZN's lack of ability to have possibly picked this up before the paper was written. I am personally against the rewrite!

These are accusations without proof. These accusations are putting pressure on us as we still writing exams. This is affecting us psychologically and legal actions can be put into play against the school as no evidence beyond reasonable doubt is present.

This is ridiculous, this has a huge implication and set back for everyone. I want to know if the University will reimburse me in getting my child back to campus to rewrite this "compromised" paper.

I speak as a concerned parent as I know how hard my child had worked for this paper and it's truly unfair to all those honest students who worked hard to have to rewrite it.the source of the problem should be dealt with and not the have everyone suffer

There is no reason to repeat this paper!!..we are not economics major students so why such urgency to rewrite, furthermore the module is not compulsory for 2017 1st year students, this module is going to hold back our degrees when it just serves as credits and not a pre requisite!
