The city has officially decided to keep the Toronto Youth Cabinet. I am honestly stunned by this result and I know it only happened because you showed up for our young leaders. Please keep paying attention to what happens at City Hall because your continued focus protects these spaces.

Toronto City Council is considering cutting the Toronto Youth Cabinet (TYC). Since 1998 Toronto has benefited from having a strong youth voice at city hall and a space to develop Toronto's next generation of leaders. For some of the specific ways the TYC has helped Toronto please see the blog page.
Send a message to the Mayor and your councillor telling them that the TYC should not be cut. Please register your support below to keep the voices of Toronto’s youth at City Hall.

This is ridiculous. Young people are the future of Toronto and they definitely deserve a seat at the table. Do not cut this program.
LEAVE THE TYC ALONE!!! City hall needs to hear from actual young people not just the same old crowd.
Please keep it. Its a great way for teens to get involved with their community.
total lack of vision from council as usual. youth need to have a platform in this city.
The TYC helped me so much when I was getting into local advocacy. Cutting them is a huge mistake for the city.

My nephew is involved with this and he works so hard. It would really suck if they lost their funding over some budget cut.
