Our team is now finalizing a briefing document that outlines the economic risks of the proposed budget cuts. This material will be delivered directly to the ministerial offices by the end of the week.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. Do not take money away from life saving research. Find it somewhere else.
Australia is falling behind enough as it is. Dont make it worse.
Short sighted move by the gov. We need to stay competitive with the rest of the world on science. Keep the funding.
Please keep the funding. My son is alive today because of this research.
Medical research is literally the only thing keeping some of us alive. Why would they even consider cutting this???

This is ridiculous. We should be focusing on the future and our health instead of slashing budgets that actually matter.
