ALL PETITION PARTICIPANTS PLEASE SEE NOTICE AT       Find A Cure Club

Australians with MEcfs and FM are asking the Prime Minister Julia Gillard to help fund Biomedical Research in Australia that supports the Whittemore Peterson Institutes ground breaking research into XMRV the third known human retrovirus. With research results that indicate over 85% of people with MEcfs testing positive to XMRV there is a huge possibility of causality for the disease and a real opportunity for a cure.  A cure for these diseases will provide us with the opportunity that all healthy Australians have and that is to lead full and productive lives. Many people with MEcfs are on Australian Disability Pensions and have Carers. The Carers are often their loved ones who have to suffer work related income loss in order to stay at home to provide the level of care needed. Australian Citizens respectfully ask their Prime Minister to help fund Biomedical Research in Australia that supports the Whittemore Peterson Institutes next step in XMRV research.

It is about time. My wife is a shell of the person she was. Funding this is the right thing to do.

Hope this happens soon. It is heartbreaking watching my daughter lose her best years to this illness.

Sick of being ignored. Research needs funding now. We deserve better than living off a pension when we could be working.
