A hot topic on the Facebook group at the moment is the Blenheims Fees and the seemingly lack of any maintenance that they demand payment for, and the extortionate amounts they assign to seemingly trivial tasks, for example, £1000 a year for playground inspections alone!
This petition is to gather signatures, to lodge a dispute of the existing fees, and to push Blenheims into giving us transparency with regard to where the money is spent.
The current fee seems to be £145 per year, per property, and some residents seem to have thankfully escaped payment for many years, whilst others are being threatened with court action due to non payment.
If we band together as a community, we can fight the fees, and find out exactly where the money is being spent, and perhaps in the future create a community based estate management association, which obviously would be free of the percentage Blemheim's take as fees.

I really cannot believe how fast this is moving and honestly the energy in the group chat is just electric right now. It is wild to see that so many of us are sick of these fees because it clearly shows Blenheims that we are actually paying attention to those ridiculous playground costs.

Having a management company for an estate that’s open to the public is a joke. There’s no reduction in council tax to warrant a management company.
The estate management fee makes it seem like a luxury estate. This is not a luxury estate. Robbery to be honest - certainly in the current financial climate.
Would like a run down of all work carried out on maintenance on the estate including costings to justify the fees charged.
The estate management fees are beyond a joke for the money for work ( not that it's carried out ). It's impossible to get hold of the company for any answers on the way the money is spent and even setting up a direct debit is seemingly impossible but the letters and admin fees for late payment continues to be sent out .
I live on the estate and my solicitor was heavily questioning this when I purchased the house

Seen very little activity & resulting work that warrant the fees being charged.

The management fees seem disproportionate compared to the actual work carried out. If these were justified costs then Blenheims would be forthcoming in their transparency on the issue. The lack of correspondence in this regard speaks volumes.
