Following receiving a grant from Sport England for renovation works at their Grimsby premises, do you agree that the GCYC has acted inappropriately in the treatment of the swimming section by:
1) Doubling the yearly membership fee after moneys have already been collected.
2) Removing voting rights of the swimming members by making them associate members.

The stories coming in about these fee hikes are infuriating. I am currently formatting these complaints to send directly to Sport England.

It is not right at all!!! The grant covered their costs so why put up membership
As a disabled member of Grimsby water rats I was shocked to hear of the treatment of a great club that is a massive part of the local community . Having to move to a new location due to this is pretty shameful.
After the year we have had these guys behaved in a unfit manner
As a former member of the club involved I am truly disgusted in the actions of Grimsby Yatch club
Absolutley disgusting behaviour

I feel that GCYC changed the rules without any prior notice. Also the way notice of the changes was given was not how I would expect a club to confer such important information to individuals.
