Treasure Island voters put in place building height and population density limits because they did not want high-density, high-rise developments in their city. Despite this, our elected officials and our city employees are actively working in opposition to the voters’ wishes!

We, the undersigned, want Our Treasure Island to retain the small town atmosphere it currently enjoys, to this end, we are petitioning the elected officials and the employees of the City of Treasure Island to cease all efforts to:

* increase building height limits.
* increase population density limits.
* circumvent voter established building height and population density limits by developing a point system that would enable the City to barter with developers for increases to the building height and/or population density limits.
* create Planned Development District Ordinances that allow developers to bring forth referendums asking the voters to approve increases to the existing building height and population density limits.

Everyone is invited to sign our petition it is not just for residents or voters, all stakeholders should have a voice in this matter and tourists and visitors opinions need to be heard too! You can indicate whether you are a resident, tourist, etc. in the Comments box when you sign the petition.
