We've come together as a class to ask that you please consider our petition regarding pinning day uniforms. Many of us have family members who are nurses, many of whom inspired us to follow in their footsteps. We've seen their photos on pinning day, and now we're asking you to let them see us in traditional nursing uniforms on our special day.

Since starting nursing school my vision of pinning has been of the traditional all white uniform. It is one of the many things I've looked forward to at the end of my journey. I feel that it does myself and others a disservice to take away our option of the traditional all white for pinning. In the event that funding is an issue for the all white uniform, I am more than happy to support anyone in need.
Becoming an RN has always been a dream to me. I got pinned for my LPN in all white and I was looking forward to continuing the tradition to get pinned for my RN in all white. For some people, they never experience any medical pinning at all, and waited the whole life for this moment. We as a whole the RN class of November 2024 would like for that special moment not be taken away from us. Thank you
As stated in the petitions description, all white is the traditional uniform and I’d prefer to follow the tradition. Since the day I stared nursing school, I looked forward to looking flawless at the pinning ceremony dressed in all white. In the event that someone isn’t able to afford the all white pinning uniform, we have all agreed to set up a fund and let the instructor handle it anonymously, to keep them anonymous.

I was pinned in all white for my LPN. To change this and to not be notified or asked my thoughts or given a reason as to why the color change is unfair especially when other campuses are still being pinned in all-white.
