I feel that the Science Fair should be for kids who are passionate about it, and want to participate. I believe you’ll have better results and a more friendly competition.

This is a good question, why does everyone need to do this? Dont we prove that we understand science concepts and curriculums through the multitudinous projects and tests throughout the year?

I completely agree, everything nowadays in schools is getting updated. Science fair should be one of the things that needs to gets updated. You should let us turn in a paper of consisting of our data or let us convert it into a presentation, those programs are free for the people who don’t have money to throw around it can be hard to acquire all these supplies. If I only see one out of 4 kids in my class even remotely trying for this project, why is it practically worth our finals? This isn’t right.

I have been working on this project for a while and I had almost everything done. Then my teacher said I couldn’t do my project so I had to scrap all my research and find a new project. This is stressing me out because I can’t find a project that would be acceptable.

I remember my sophomore year there was an alternate assignment called "Chemistry is Life." What happened to it? It's not fair for all these students who have to do Sci Fair when students before them had two choices

Science fair is pointless if the students [like me] have no interest in what they're doing and the concept of it itself. I want us to have a choice on whether we want to do it or not.
