I believe that students should have the option to do science fair. I see no purpose in having students with little to no interest give minimal effort to complete a project they are forced to do for a grade. Students who truly have interest and will put forth their best effort should have the right to be able to do it, but for the students who do not have interest in science fair should not be forced to do it. Students should be able to chose a project, be it a presentation, paper, etc. on a topic they truly have interest in. That way, the student is putting forth effort that is wanted to be put forth instead of effort that is being forced to be put forth.
