In the Fall of 2012, teacher Jennifer Stewart (formerly Jennifer Bullock) was held under investigation by her administrator, Debra Lunow. She was told she was being held under investigation by the adminstration of Canyon Hills, and removed from her classroom. Jennifer would not speak to administrators or Human Resources until they advised her what she was being held under investigation for. Under pressure from Human Resources from intense interrogation about giving her full name, Jennifer Stewart (without the aid of union resources due to non-membership) was broken down and quit under the pretenses that she was returning back to school. Two years later when she tried to reapply, Jennifer was denied EPISD employment by a block put on her name since the 2012 interrogations. Jennifer is advocating for herself, with the help of the community, to reopen her investigation and have the block removed. Her goal is to be re-hired with EPISD and work again within the public schools.

Jennifer is a great teacher and the kids miss her. Why is this block still even there? Just let her come back to work already.

Jennifer Stewart case deserves to be reviewed and reinstated as a teacher for the district. This cruel and unusual the reasoning needs to be clear as to why she is being blocked and resolved promptly. She is not only a morally good person but a great teacher that truly cares about the development of children's education and well being. Teachers like these are few and far between. Keeping her from teaching our children would be a mistake. Please consider reviewing and reinstating Jennifer Stewart.
