Cecilia Evelyn Belser-Patton is by far one of the most passionate and integrate staff members AVHS has ever seen. She has changed AV for the better and helped make our sense of community stronger. She has united seniors, juniors, sophomores and freshmen into believing that we are all one community, and that it is an obligation to look out for eachother. Mrs. BP is a part of this community,thus it is our obligation to look out for her as well. To keep silent is to consent to let this happen before our eyes. Our voices must be heard! We want Mrs. BP back! No one deserves to be judged for mistakes of the past. What happened only strengthened her and makes up the person she is today. I was just rereading some of the stories people left in the comments and it honestly makes my heart ache because Mrs. BP really did change so many lives here at AV. The silence from the administration is still deafening but I think they are starting to realize that we are not going to just let this go away quietly.

BP should be brought back, AV ain't been the same.. She shouldn't be judged for her past because everyone makes mistakes, no one is perfect. She really has impacted a lot of students here and she deserves to be here, she helped shaped AV to be the way it is now. Less suspensions and having staff actually take the time to evaluate the problem instead of just suspending students from what they hear from teachers. I really hope they bring her back..
Ms.BP is one of the coolest people I know working at Alta Vista. At first when I had ISS I was scared of her but she was actually very nice and chill. She told me she didn't want to see me back in ISS and I followed her directions and tried my best to stay out of trouble. I love how she understands teenagers and that is what we need from adults.
Bring BP back. She was a huge part of our community, she's the reason we have a sense of community in this school anyways. She saw the best in every kid, even the little bada** ones. Most of the teachers can't even say they don't want her back. You 'neglect' us and she accepts us. Learn from her, if anything.

I believe people should not be put out by a misfortune or a childish act that happened years ago.People should be judged by what we are now not by what they were before.People should be aware of mistake we make time to time.We all make them, so why do we push the people that learned from their mistake away instead of giving them a second chance.Applying for a job is hard, but even more when people keep bring up things that are dead and gone.That is why I believe miss.BP should come back because forgiving someone for there mistake I the best thing that can benefit and or make what she did a nuisance in her life.

Nobody has been able to move forward with anything regarding student voices as much as Mrs. BP has. We're able to voice our thoughts on the actions of our peers and actions of our teachers bc of Mrs. BP. She has done more than she signed up for and she does it out of heart. She isn't getting anything more out of it than a pay check. Before her, when there was a conflict between staff and a student, staff was always right, there was no meeting in the middle. She hears our voices and our thoughts, something no one else was willing to do so.
