Thursday is a holy day. "Arafeh" is known to be the most holy day in Islam and it is only once a year. Arafeh is always one day before Eid Al-Aha and it is a day to fast and worship Allah (even more). It is for this reason all we ask is to have this day off. The university needs to respect our religious beliefs.

The university administration is ignoring us because they think we will just give up. Get this link to every student you know right now so we hit 250 signatures and force them to address our demand for Arafeh off. Do not let them silence our religious rights for another day.

Exactly. We get Christmas off but not this? It makes zero sense. Respect our faith please.

This is a really big deal for us. Please let us have the day off to spend with family.
We shouldnt have to choose between school and our religion. Other holidays get respected so why not this one???
