Castle point council have hidden a notice in the car park in Thundersley village saying that they intend to charge for parking in Thundersley village. From 1st October 2013 they want to charge 40p for 1 hour, 80p for 2 hours and £1.50 for 3 hours... Max stay 3 hours. This will kill the village trade and parents will have to pay to drop their children off at school, which will cause chaos elsewhere. Please complain to David Marchant Castle Point Council, Kiln Road, Thundersley, Essex, SS7 1TF or email: [email protected] Please encourage all friends and family to sign petition.

This is going to ruin the local shops. Nobody is going to want to stop for a quick pint of milk if they have to pay for the privilege. Leave it alone!

TOTAL LUDICROUS IDEA. Traffic at school run time is already a nightmare now they want to charge us for it. Get a grip.
