Please support our petition for a school crossing and traffic calming measures on Thelwall New Road outside Thelwall Junior school. Numerous serious accidents have occurred on this stretch of road in recent years and traffic levels are increasing.

Speeding, parking and the lack of crossing makes this a dangerous section of road. Lymm High school buses also travel along it at the same time that the Junior children are coming out at 3.30pm. 

We are all encouraged to walk to school and as children of this age are starting to walk to school by themselves we feel that some help is needed to get them to school safely.  

Please sign this petition and send to as many others as you can so we can take it to the relevant authorities.
