Dear Movie Theatre CEO's, We, the undersigned, are submitting this petition today to protest the deplorable state of moviegoing etiquette in your theatres. The rampant misuse of cell phones, sneaking in fast food, and the inability of certain audience members to refrain from talking is driving us away from seeing films in the theatre. Thus, the proliferation of illegal downloads. The solution is simple. Theatres need to hire additional staff to deal with troublemakers, and enforce strict no cellphone/no talking policies. Violations of these policies will result in the immediate ejection of the offenders, no refunds. These new policies will send a message to the theatregoing public that they are not sitting at home in their living rooms, but are ruining a communal experience for the rest of us. Please examine this issue carefully, and make the necessary changes. We are fed up and ready to take our business elsewhere. Act today, and make our moviegoing experience worthwhile again.
