Flintshire and Cardiff Childminders can send in their invoice for 17.5 hours or 30 hours funded childcare and be paid the same week but not Vale of Glamorgan or Newport Childminders who have no choice but to work in arrears and have been told payment can then take 28 days. A small business can not financially afford to work in such a way. It should be in advance as per the Welsh Assembly guidelines.
Please sign this petition to ensure the number of childminders left can continue to work and are not forced to close their doors for good.

Childminders should be paid the same across the board not depending on what area of Wales they live in !!!

It's unfair to make small businesses wait almost a full month for payments to be made for childcare!! Who pays the bills ???

As we are all governed by the same rules I strongly feel it should apply with our funded payments too!
