This is not BA's money. This is money that belongs to the holiday maker. Why are BA the only major airline doing this?
All I am asking is that BA change this policy to the following:
- If you have paid for your flight or holiday up front, the tax will be refunded within 4 weeks
- If you have paid a deposit and due to pay the balance, the balance should reflect the actual cost, not the cost + a non existent child tax and this change should be made before the due date
Please sign this petition to put pressure on BA to change this ridiculous policy.

Seeing this grow has been exhausting but I am not stopping now. Getting this much attention makes it clear that people are tired of waiting for their own money to be returned.

BA are just holding onto our money to make interest for themselves. Absolutely discusting behaviour.
Total scam. Other airlines managed to fix this months ago so stop making excuses and put the money back in my account.
It is completely unacceptable to retain this money! This should be refunded steaight away which would save BA further admin costs!!!
What a joke , I spoke to BA about 6 weeks ago and they said they would be refunding ASAP , we're just finalising the details
Completely agree, when we pay our final balence in August, I want the tax removed.
