I think it's ridiculous that there is no direct bus between Tetbury and Nailsworth, you either have to change bus at Minchinhampton or Stroud, making a 7 mile journey last roughly an hour and costing about £4.50 for a single journey (when a single journey between Cirencester and Tetbury, of 10 miles, costs only £1.60). I'm sure there are many people, particularly students with friend groups that are spread across many towns, who would appreciate a bus service between Tetbury and Nailsworth. I have emailed the council twice and neither time have I got a reply (not even an automated one) so I figured a petition might grab their attention a bit more. I am of legal age to drive but have chosen not too as I am trying to do my bit for the environment, however, this becomes harder when I cannot get 7 miles down the road without catching two buses and wasting a lot of time. I hope Cotswold District Council will be able to lay on a bus service that will run between Tetbury and Nailsworth.
