St. Louis County is seeking approval for a zoning change on a piece of land in the middle of our quiet neighborhood. This development would become a focal point of our community of over 100 homes. Our community is nestled back between Mason Road and Fee Fee Road north of Olive Boulevard.

The current permit states if a zonning change is approved that a 16,000 sq fr facility center will be built on 4 1/2 acres directly in front and behind our homes. The current area is a wooded in grassy area where a lot of wildlife tend to congregate in the mornings and evenings. A facility of this type in this size in the middle of a residential not only not be very attractive, but will completely unwind the recent years of property valuation increases in the area.

There is no doubt there will be a large increase in traffic, loss of value in our properties, a negative affect on our personal and personal lives, potential for disturbances all hours of the night, and worsened flooding into our community.
