This online petition is on behalf of many fellow anglers who feel this part of swansea should be open to the general fishing public. I feel it is a shame that it has been closed to everybody for this length of time and is stopping everyone's enjoyment. This would definately benefit tourism in swansea as a place to go in both the winter and summer months. Please can as many people sign this to show your support as the more we can keep this topic alive the more chance we may have this place to fish again.

I have been hearing stories from so many of you about the days spent down on the pier before the gates were locked shut. Sitting on those rocks was a huge part of my life and I refuse to stop pushing until we can cast our lines there once more.

Seeing this much traction for the pier genuinely gives me hope that we might actually get back out on the water soon. My own rods have been collecting dust for far too long and it means the world to see so many others who feel the same way.

the price of the permit should also be reduced to around £10pa or for people that only fish a few times a day ticket would be more suitable costing around £4 per day per rod. bins also need to be provided at strategic points to reduce litter
