The residents of Squaw Valley are hereby petitioning the proposed residence of Jeffrey Snyder. Our community fears that there are too many children near the residence in question (36188 Sage Lane). Five children live in the home directly behind this rental mobile home. There are also, numerous other children, directly across, and down the street. Residents on this street and numerous nearby community members, have expressed their sincerest concern, stating that there are too many unmarked bus stops near the rental, and one bus stop clearly marked across the street. Squaw Valley Community members do not have safety in numbers, our fear is Jeffrey could potentially threaten or harm our children, without the protection or assistance of close proximity neighbors. Additionally, there is a substantial lag in 911 response time, due to our distance from hospitals and police stations. Thank you for your careful consideration in this matter.

Seeing two hundred and fifty neighbors sign this petition confirms that we all feel the same terror about having Jeffrey Snyder on our street. My own kids play outside on Sage Lane every afternoon and this level of support gives me hope that we can keep them safe.

I might be a kid but I do not want a sex offender up here... He lives rather close, if you've seen the map with the bus stops I am bus stop #1. I am good friends with some of the kids who live near him.
I have two young children and moved up here to get away from these types of situations. It is unsafe to have a violent sex offender anywhere near children, especially in a rural area where we are accustomed to allowing our children a modicum of freedom.
Just because we are a rural area doesn't mean you should be able to dump your undesireables here. We pay taxes too just like those in the city, However we have less law enforcement officers are you going to increase sheriffs presence to watch the criminals you are dumping on us?
Due to our Rural location and lengthened response times from emergency assistance and law enforcement, we cannot have this violent sex offender in our community! The close proximity to children and the lack of present law enforcement is a danger to our children.
Putting a sexually violent criminal in a remote area near an elementary and high school bus stop is one of the worst ideas I can think of. He's had his chances he is a habitual offender and has been since 1979 . He has no reason to be close to the children of Squaw Valley.
Please do not let child molester reside at the address

I'm from a community not so different from Squaw Valley, and I cannot imagine any scenario where this would be acceptable. Moving a violent pedophile who has repeated his crimes after multiple stints in prison and hospital into an isolated community is nothing short of irresponsible.
